Write a 250- to 300-word response to the following:

• What is a dissertation?
• Share your thoughts on what it will be like for you to write a dissertation. Include what excites you and what you think might present challenges.

Note: If you are not writing a dissertation, share a potential research project you will complete. What excites you and what might challenge you about this project?

Include your own experience as well as two citations that align with or contradict your comments as sourced from peer-reviewed academic journals, industry publications, books, and/or other sources. Cite your sources using APA formatting.

If you found contradicting information to what your experience tells you, explain why you agree or disagree with the research.
